The CBI has said that Sharad Kalaskar was one of the two suspects who shot Narendra Dabholkar on August 20, 2013, on the Omkareshwar Bridge in Pune.

Sharad Kalaskar is an expert in “weapon handling” and was involved in “making of bombs”, the CBI told the Judicial Magistrate.

Court denies CBI custody of Kalaskar

The court had earlier remanded Kalaskar in the custody of the Maharashtra Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) and observed there would be a legal complication to get the transfer done.
