UP: Teachers, edu officers warned against misleading social media posts

The UP basic education department has issued an order warning basic shiksha adikharis (BSAs), block education officers (BEOs) and teachers of strict action if they were found guilty of posting anything objectionable/misleading or contrary to government policy on facebook, WhatsApp etc.

UP: Teachers of state varsities, colleges to get seventh pay panel benefits

The state cabinet on Tuesday approved a proposal to implement recommendations of the seventh pay commission for teachers and equivalent cadres in the state universities, deemed universities and degree colleges of Uttar Pradesh.

Sinhgad Institutes’ crisis: Teachers to file plaint in HC against illegal firing of staff

The last teacher to be fired, a staffer from Sinhgad College of Pharmacy, Vadgaon, was on medical leave due to her pregnancy when she received the letter of discontinuation from the institute. Most of the teachers complained that they were illegally fired stating wrong tenure completion dates.
