Over 8.5 lakh bank employees to get 15% pay hike

Bank strike hits ATM services, salary withdrawals

The United Forum of Banking Unions (UBFU) has claimed that the strike is “total success” as the employees have “enthusiastically participated in the strike in all banks and in all branches”.

Bank unions call for two-day nationwide strike from May 30

A bank unions’ body has said it will go on a 48-hour nationwide strike on May 30 and 31 to protest the meagre 2% wage hike offered to bank employees by the Indian Banks’ Association.

Bank unions announce 48-hour strike from May 30 over wage revision demands

The United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) has proposed the bank strike beginning 6 am on May 30, till 6 am on June 1, demanding early revision of wages. The wage revision has been due since November 1, 2017.
