US-Bangla Airlines plane skidded off the runway on to surrounding grass, quickly catching fire. Both pilots were among those killed in the March12 plane crash last year.

Inquiry blames ‘stressed, weeping’ pilot for Nepal plane crash that killed 51

The March 12 flight from the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka crash-landed at Kathmandu airport and skidded into a football field where it burst into flames, killing 51 people.

Nepal begins probe of plane crash that killed 49, airline defends pilot

The Bombardier Q400 series aircraft was carrying 71 people from the Bangladeshi capital of Dhaka when it tried to land in conditions of visibility that weather officials said exceeded 6 km, with clouds at one end of the runway and a light tailwind of six to seven knots.

US-Bangla Airlines plane crashes at Kathmandu airport, 49 killed
