It was always going to be a tough proposition for the Indian batting order against the Australian bowling. Vihari and Pant started sedately, before Starc dismissed Vihari which started yet another collapse and in the end, Australia walked away with a comfortable win by 146 runs. Nathan Lyon was adjudged man of the match for his 8 wickets in the match.
