The six seats which went to the polls in the fourth phase of the ongoing general elections include Jabalpur, Balaghat, Mandla, Chhindwara in Mahakoshal region and Sidhi and Shahdol in Vindhya region. A bypoll was also held in the Chhindwara assembly seat.

Post poor show in MP’s Vindhya, Congress to conduct ‘forensic examination’ of voting pattern

The Congress will get experts to conduct a forensic examination of the voting pattern in Madhya Pradesh’s Vindhya region, from where it won just six out of 30 seats in the recently concluded assembly polls, as it has “suspicion” on EVMs used there.
