Actor and comedian Sunil Grover has decided to not return to The Kapil Sharma Show after his fight with the host Kapil Sharma, but as the show completes 100 episodes, Sunil has only good things to say about the show.
“Maine jitne 92 episodes kiye, unme bohot maza aaya (I enjoyed the 92 episodes that I have done on the show). I have a lot of gratitude for this platform, because it gave me a lot of love and I have been lucky that I got this opportunity. Mere mann mein iss platform ke liye humesha hi gratitude rahega,” says Sunil.
Sunil has been interacting with fans through his various posts on social media, but maintained has a dignified silence on the fight between him and Kapil.
According to sources, the fight started on a flight from Melbourne to Delhi and Kapil lost his temper. “Jab maine khaana shuru nahi kiya toh tum logo ne kaise le liya khaana (When I haven’t started eating yet, how did you take your meals)?” he shouted, with co-passengers within earshot. An eyewitness revealed that Kapil’s co-stars were so startled that they started returning their half-finished food trays to the flight crew. At this point, Sunil tried to calm Kapil down, who then started yelling at him. “Kapil got up, took his shoe off, and hit Sunil,” says the source. “He also pulled Sunil’s collar, and repeatedly slapped him.” After that, Sunil promptly quit.
