Anuj Sachdev ousted from show
Lead actor of Phir Subah Hogi replaced by Nandish Sandhu after barely three months.
In the fickle world of television, actors get replaced in the blink of an eye. The reasons could range from low TRPs and poor performances to a fresh twist in the story or starry tantrums. The latest example of this is actor Anuj Sachdev. He has been replaced by Nandish Sandhu in Zee TV's primetime show, Phir Subah Hogi.

The show, which has been on air for three months, has Varun Badola and Gulki Joshi as the lead pair. Anuj plays Varun’s brother, Aditya, on screen and says that he parted ways with the show by mutual consent. He explains, “What I was promised regarding my character didn’t appear on-screen. I was working for hardly eight days a month on the show. As an actor, it’s important to be visible. I am glad the channel and production house finally took this decision.”
Sources from the channel insist it was Anuj’s prior commitments, including a plan to go to the US to study, which clashed with the dates for the show. An insider from the channel says, “Nandish was brought on board as he suits Aditya's character.” Sukesh Motwani of Zee, adds, “Anuj is a fine actor and we wish to work with him again.”
