Armaan Kohli might not have made it to the finale of Bigg Boss 7, but lady luck seems to have smiled upon the actor who has a lot going for him lately.

The Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) is just about a month away and Sohail Khan is busy recruiting new members for his team, Mumbai Heroes.

An insider from the team reveals that Armaan was always actor Suniel Shetty’s choice, who is the team’s captain. “Suniel always thought his presence would make the team stronger so he had asked the owners to take Armaan on board as now that he’s done with the reality show,” says the source.

When contacted, Suniel confirms the development and says, "Armaan is a sweet boy. He deserves something good. I know he plays good cricket and that’s why I am getting him to play for Mumbai Heroes."

The source also reveals that the organisers are planning on some serious re-shuffling in the team to give a tough fight to the other sides.

“They are yet to lock the final team and are searching for good players,” says the insider. Mumbai Heroes will open the cricket league playing against Chennai Rhinos in Mumbai on January 25.

However, Suniel will start practising with the existing team from January 7 at the Air India ground. “The changes, if required, would be made seeing the fitness and the performance of the team,” adds the source.
