The American singer and actress has added her name to the credits of, Wayward Pines, a ten-episode mini-series set to air in the US on the FOX network during 2014.
The miniseries is unmistakenly a pastiche of and homage to, Twin Peaks, the classic David Lynch series. Viewers will follow a federal agent investigating the disappearance of two colleagues in a strange town in Idaho. Ethan Burke quickly realizes that getting out of Wayward Pines will not be an easy task.
Juliette Lewis has been confirmed for the role of Beverly, a warm and friendly barmaid who doesn't mince words. The actress, perhaps best known for her role in the cult Oliver Stone film, Natural Born Killers, will share the billing with Matt Dillon, Melissa Leo, Terrence Howard, Carla Gugino and Toby Jones.
The executive producer on the miniseries, M. Night Shyamalan (Sixth Sense, After Earth) will also direct the first of the ten episodes, all scheduled to air in 2014 on Fox in the US.
