Karan’s day out with tribals in the midst of nature
The actor spent time with members of a tribal community; discussed their way of living.
Recently, actor Karan Tacker went for a lunch organised by an NGO at Aarey Milk Colony in Goregaon East, where he dined with tribals. During the lunch, the actor interacted with the members of the tribal community, and learnt how they cook their food. The actor was glad to have visited these families, and spent time with them.
Karan also helped the ladies cook, and learnt how to make wheat rotis. The actor says, “As kids, we used to go to Aarey Milk Colony and Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Borivali (E), as a family, during the summer vacations. I would even get my dog along since he loved running around in the open space. Recently, my dad saw an ad in the paper and visiting the place seemed like a fun idea. We carried hammocks and cooking material and put up a day camp around tribal villages. We cooked there with everyone, made tea and loved being amidst nature. In a way, we all relived the childhood memories.”
