Salman Khan and Bigg Boss return with an all new mansion in its ninth edition. The new Bigg Boss house is set to be an abode for 14 contestants for the next three months.
Situated in a very popular tourist destination, Lonavala, 82 kms away from Mumbai, the well-furnished house this year has a complaint box, drone (aerial camera), three mannequins in the garden area and a lounge at the roof top.
Set designer-filmmaker Omung Kumar, who has been the mastermind behind the house right from its inception, has incorporated dual decor items keeping the theme of “double trouble” intact.
“The idea was to have more vibrant house, slightly towards Mediterranean feel which is why we have used a splash of colours. Every room has its own character. We have given a lot of characteristics and spaces to the house.
“So, we think these places will add double to the entertainment and trouble quotient of the house as well,” Deepak Dhar, Managing Director and CEO at Endemol India, told PTI.
Bigg Boss Nau, being hosted by superstar Salman Khan, goes on air from today on Colors.
The contestants would be welcomed by a striking clean swimming pool, lush green lawns and series of mirrors as they enter the house. The living room has a vintage interior, which will see old suitcases and TV sets, in combination to vibrant colours like electric blue and pink.

“Every year we try to do very different but this time it is completely unique. A vibrant house is something which a lot of people may dislike. The house is too loud and when it starts getting to you, people will be on the edge and that’s when a lot of content will start coming out. These are our ways of planting things,” he said.
