After boycotting The Kapil Sharma Show, actor and comedian Sunil Grover says that he has received several offers but is yet to decide on anything. He denies reports of doing a rival show on the same channel.
Actor-comedian Sunil Grover has refuted reports of signing a new show on the same channel (SonyLIV) as that of Kapil Sharma’s The Kapil Sharma Show. Although he says that several offers are being made to him, he also asserts that nothing has been finalised.
Actor and comedian Sunil Grover says that he has been flooded with show offers.
“I have not signed any show on the same channel or anywhere else, for that matter. I was part of The Kapil Sharma Show and I have been out of the show for some time. I am a performer and my job is to perform and act. There are offers, but nothing has been decided yet, but I will be doing something for sure,” says Sunil, who boycotted the show after a spat with Kapil on a flight in March.
A workaholic by nature, Sunil says that the decision to take up a new show will not be delayed for much longer. “I can’t sit idle for a long time. My family also asks me why I am not [working on something]. Mujhe kaam to karna hai, but kya karna hai decided nahi hai,” he adds.

Kapil’s show completed 100 episodes on Sunday. Sunil, who rose to popularity after playing multiple characters on the show, has no grudges against the show and has respect for the platform. “Maine jitne 92 episodes kiye, unme bohot maza aaya. I have a lot of gratitude for this platform, because it gave me a lot of love, and I have been lucky that I got this opportunity. Mere mann mein iss platform ke liye humesha hi gratitude rahega,” says the actor.
