Kerala govt to offer ‘safe homes’ to inter-caste married couples

To promote inter-caste marriages, Kerala government will soon provide safe homes to newly-married couples. Inter-caste married couples will be able to stay there for a year before they find themselves accomodation. The state government will also provide certain facilities in those homes, said Kerala Health Minister KK Shailaja. Earlier in the day, Shailaja inaugurated 'One Day Home' in Thiruvananthapuram. The government-supported homes are for solo women travellers.
