Cong sure of benefiting from Badal family feud

The Congress party is confident about benefiting from sibling rivalries and dent in Punjab chief minister Prakash Singh Badal's family alliances ahead of assembly polls in the state. In Punjab, the main battle is expected to be between the ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD)- BJP alliance and the Congress party. Recently, Gurdas Singh Badal supposedly a close associate of state chief Prakash Singh Badal changed the party as his son Manpreet Singh Badal detached from Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and formed the People's Party of Punjab (PPP).
