CPI(M) meets to finalise party manifesto

The prominent leaders of the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) on Tuesday met in Kolkata to finalise the party's proposed manifesto, a draft enfolding the political and ideological resolutions of the party. Meanwhile, commenting over the divergence between the Congress and the BJP, Yechury said that the policies adopted by both the parties were hazardous for the country. Reacting over rumours that the Trinamool Congress might pitch its candidate against the Congress party in the upcoming Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, the leader said both the parties needed to settle their liaison.
