EC writes to chief secys of all 5 poll-bound states

The Election Commission seems to be widening its radar on statues of party symbols and living leaders after operation cover up in Uttar Pradesh against Mayawati and her party. It has written to Chief Secretaries of all 5 poll-bound states asking for statues of party symbols and living leaders made with public money. The EC's move has come after Mayawati complained of being singled out by the EC.
