India, China to form border management mechanism

On the 2nd and final day of round 15 of India and China border talks, there seem to be positive developments with Chinese leader Dai Bingguo saying the two sides have "scaled much height" and "produced some results" on the framework of settlement of the issue. There is a likelihood of an agreement on setting up a joint border management mechanism which will comprise officials of foreign and defence ministries of both sides and representatives of the armed forces.
