Indian priest denies sexual charges

An Indian Catholic priest, Rev. Joseph Palanivel Jeyapaul, charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in U.S., said on Tuesday the charges against him were baseless. Jeyapaul, 55, who is presently staying at the Bishop's house in Ootacamund city of Tamil Nadu, said that charges against him were not true and he is ready to prove his innocence.
