Devotees thronged unique makeshift tents or pandals, made of conch shells in Kolkata on the occasion of five-day long Durga Puja, a festival dedicated to Hindu Goddess of power, Durga. Styled after Nepal's famous Pashupatinath temple, the pandal drew large number of visitors with its beauty and splendor. The organizers decided to use conch shells for their this year's pandal at the insistence of their artiste.
