An Israeli reservist has been killed in a Hezbollah explosive-drone attack near the Lebanon border, according to the IDF and Israeli media reports. The soldier was identified as Warrant Officer (res.) Alexander Glovanyov, 47, a driver in the Transport Center’s 6924th Battalion, and officials said one of several drones launched from Lebanon struck inside Israeli territory and killed him. At the same time, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu signaled that Israel does not intend to automatically end the Lebanon campaign even if fighting with Iran subsides. In an interview aired by CBS, Netanyahu said Hezbollah and Iran-related fronts “should be” treated separately and argued that if Iran’s regime is seriously weakened, it could mean the eventual end of Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis as well.
