Jama Masjid management in Delhi has imposed a ban on the entry of unaccompanied women into the mosque, citing 'improper acts' which allegedly violate the sanctity of the worship place. The directive, however, has not gone down well with many and has sparked outrage on social media. Delhi women's panel has condemned the order and will issue a notice to Jama Masjid over the issue.
