Officials of the temple trust assured that the construction will meet its deadline. The temple is slated to open for pilgrims by December 2023, just before Lok Sabha elections. 47 layers of concrete were filled after excavation to support the 3-storied structure. Structure of the temple will be built over 10 acres of land within the temple complex. Around 4 lakh cubic feet of stone & marble from Rajasthan will be used for the ram temple. No steel or bricks will be used in the construction of the temple. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the temple last year on August 5. Construction at the site started after the SC verdict in 2019, post years of dispute.
