LG G7 ThinQ: Closer look at LG’s new AI-powered phone
LG at the ongoing IFA 2018 conference in Berlin showcased its new flagship smartphone, LG G7 ThinQ. Like previous LG products, the new smartphone is also infused with Artificial Intelligence and uses it for variety of purposes, especially camera. The dual-AI camera is capable of quickly recognising subjects in an image and even optimize the camera settings for better picture. LG G7 ThinQ also uses AI for enhancing low-light photography.
In terms of specifications, LG G7 ThinQ has a 6.1-inch QHD+ FullVision display with a notch on the front. It has two cameras on the back featuring dual 16-megapixel sensors. On the front it has an 8-megapixel camera. The smartphone is powered by a 3,000mAh battery.
For performance, LG G7 ThinQ relies on Qualcomm’s top-end 2.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 845 processor with 4GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB built-in storage and supports microSD expandable storage up to 2TB. On the software front, it relies on Android 8.0 (Oreo).
