Stored millions of unencrypted Instagram passwords: Facebook
Facebook had said that it stored millions of unencrypted Instagram passwords. Instagram’s parent company- Facebook, made the revelation last month. The social media firm has been under fire since last year over alleged data leak. It was alleged that a political consultancy Cambridge Analytica leaked the private data of 87 million users. Meanwhile, the social giant had announced a slew of measures to tighten the handling of data.
