Pak political parties hope ‘sense will prevail’

As tensions between the civilian government and the powerful military plunged Pakistan into another crisis, political leaders from various parties within the country hope that sense will prevail and avert a collapse of the government. Even the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) warned that both sides appeared to be digging in their heels, which could have disastrous results.
