“We learn how to shoot, throw darts, to disassemble rifles and magazines”, 10-year-old Kirill Molachov says with a glint in her eye. “Well, just in case I go to war.” Molachov is a member of “Vityaz”, a club in Donetsk People's Republic, in Eastern Ukraine, which aims at drilling patriotism into the minds of Ukrainian children by teaching them military skills and marching towards what looks like a forgotten picture of childhood. The situation looks grim as an armed rebellion between the Ukrainian government troops and rebel forces in Eastern Ukraine has affected almost 580 children as per UNICEF.
