Alia Bhatt delivered the baby at HN Reliance Hospital, Girgaon in Mumbai just hours after she arrived at the hospital with husband Ranbir Kapoor
Their family, led by Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor and Alia's mother Soni Razdan, visited the couple and the newborn at the hospital
In an Instagram post, Alia Bhatt shared a sketch of a family of lions and wrote, "We are officially bursting with love - blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!!!"
Neetu Kapoor, grandmother to the newborn girl, also shared the beautiful lion sketch and captioned it with, "Blessings ❤️🙏"
Many celebs such as Zoya Akhtar, Neha Dhupia and Kiara Advani poured blessings for the baby girl in the comments section of the post shared by Alia
In a comment under the post made by Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit Nene wrote, "Warmest wishes and congratulations on the birth of your sweet little baby girl"
Akshay Kumar also shared his blessings in a comment under Alia's post that read, "No bigger joy in the world than to have a daughter. Bless you all😇"
