Creamy Garlic Mushroom

Fresh parsley/coriander for garnish

Garlic cloves (finely chopped)- 6 or 7

Onions (finely chopped)- 3

Button mushrooms- 200 gm


Salt to taste

Mixed herb seasoning- 1 tsp

Hot water/vegetable stock- 1 cup

Paprika or Degi mirch- 1 tsp

Black pepper powder- 1 tsp 

All purpose flour- 2 tbsp

Vegetable oil- 4 tbsp

Heavy cream- 100 ml

Butter- 50 gm


Add 2 tbsp of oil in a pan and fry onions till brown. Keep aside

Put butter in a pan, stir until brown and then add the mushrooms

Add chopped garlic and stir fry till golden

Add cream and flour. Stir well to mix properly. Make sure there are no lumps

Add the fried onions

Sprinkle paprika, salt and pepper, then stir well

Cover the pan with a lid and let it rest for 5 min on medium flame

Add the vegetable stock or warm water and sprinkle some parsley over it

Serve hot with noodles, pasta or rice
