Easy Chicken Curry Recipe

Salt: To taste

Mustard oil: 1 tbsp

Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tsp

Chicken curry masala: 1 tsp

Garam masala powder: 1tsp

Haldi: Half tsp

Red chilli powder: 1 tsp

Curd: 5 tbsp

Chicken: 1 kg

Ingredients for quick marination:

Red chilli, garam masala, coriander powder, chicken masala, haldi: Half tsp

Cream: Optional

Salt: To taste

Amchoor: Half tsp

Jeera: 1 tsp

Hing: pinch

Ghee: 2 tbsp

Dried red chillies: 2

Bay leaves: 2

Ginger-garlic paste: 1-2 tsp

Tomato: 2 medium

Onion: 4 medium

 Ingredients for cooking:

Add the ingredients for marination and set aside for at least 15 minutes

In a pan, heat the ghee. Add bay leaves, dried red chillies, hing and jeera. Cook for a bit. (You can directly cook in the pressure cooker as well)

Add the onion and cook until golden brown

Once the onion starts getting some colour, add the ginger-garlic paste

Add the masalas (except amchoor) and cook for a bit

Add the tomato and cook till it gets soft

Now add the chicken and let it cook for a bit

Transfer chicken to a pressure cooker and add a little water. Allow 2-3 whistles

Taste and adjust salt. Add the amchoor and let it simmer for a bit. Add 2-3 tsps of cream (optional)

Serve hot with roti or rice
