1. Admission: A valid GATE score can be used to seek admission to Master’s programs and direct doctoral programs in engineering, technology, architecture, science, commerce, arts, and humanities institutions supported by the MoE and other government agencies.

2. Financial Assistance: GATE-qualified candidates can avail financial assistance, such as scholarships or assistantships, for a master's or doctoral program. The financial assistance given to M.Tech students is ₹12400/ month, and for Ph.D. students, it is ₹37000/ month for the first two years and ₹42,000/month for the third to fifth year.
