Although a relatively young discipline, Sports Science has gained popularity in the last few decades. If you are interested in it, check the specialisation and career opportunities.

Eligibility: Entry requirements vary depending on the institution. Typically, applicants are expected to show strong aptitude in the sciences, particularly in human biology and psychology, and a keen interest in sports

Sports physiotherapy: This field focuses on the prevention and treatment of injuries, among others

Physical and sports education: This is for those interested in teaching young people (or adults) about sports and fitness.

Sport psychology: This specialisation focuses on the psychology surrounding sport, analyzing questions such as what motivates a sportsperson to perform, how a team works together, etc.

Sports nutrition: Students will learn about the influence of food on health and well-being, explore different vitamins, supplements, etc., and learn how to recommend dietary changes
