Cramming for exams and doing assignments the night before: This approach to cramming is not sustainable. When you cram, you effectively commit facts and concepts to your short-term memory. This information will not be in your memory for long.
Procrastinating: The best way to avoid doing something is to procrastinate. But this is not going to help you if you are a student. Finish the work that you have taken up before time. Building a study schedule is the best way to reduce procrastination's impact.

Getting distracted: A simple phone message or a loud sound can make you lose your attention from your studies and get distracted. To stop it, you must select a dedicated study zone to have fewer distractions and more concentration on your work.

Leaving your notes unorganised: It is a bad habit to leave your notes unorganised. Your notes don’t have to be meticulous or beautiful all the time, but they should be organized and kept where you can access them when you need them.

Sticking to standard studying techniques: Most of us follow the same studying techniques throughout our lives, even if they are not working that well. It is important to analyse which technique works for us and change the ones that do not produce results.

Studying too much: Sticking to your study schedule is important, but overdoing things can be harmful. Prepare your schedule so that you do not burn yourself out studying for long hours. Take time out for self-care, socializing, and things that make you happy.
