Grammy 2025 winners: Leading category highlights

The 67th Annual Grammy Awards celebrated music’s finest, with powerful performances and big wins for Kendrick Lamar and Beyoncé. Here's the winners' list across all major categories.

Album of the Year: Beyonce took home the prestigious accolade for her album "Cowboy Carter", becoming the first black woman to have won the honour in the 21st century.

Record of the Year: The Grammys proved to be a historic night for Kendrick Lamar, who won Record of the Year, among other notable categories, for his hit song "Not Like Us".

Song of the Year: Kendrick Lamar's epic Drake diss track, "Not Like Us", also took home the prestigious Song of the Year award.

Best New Artist: Chappell Roan won the Best New Artist category, and called for record labels to give growing artists liveable wages and healthcare, in her acceptance speech.

Best Pop Vocal Album: Sabrina Carpenter took home her second award of the night, for "Short N' Sweet", beating out Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, and Chappell Roan. She also won the Best Pop Solo Performance Award for Espresso.

Best Pop Duo/Group Performance: Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars were honoured with the title for "Die With A Smile".

Best Latin Pop Album: Shakira's 2024 LP "Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran" was honoured with the award and the Colombian pop icon dedicated her big win to the immigrants' cause.

 Best Rap Album: Rising star, Doechii, made history by becoming the third woman to ever win in this category, for her album "Alligator Bites Never Heal", beating out major records by Eminem, Metro Booming and Future.

Best Country Album: Beyonce's "Cowboy Carter" scored yet another win, making her the first black artist to have won in this category.
