One should not be found drinking alcohol outside designated areas or in public and bringing your own alcohol into Qatar is not allowed
The state previously announced the availability and purchase of beer in fan zones, before and after the matches in eight stadium compounds during the FIFA World Cup
Public display of affection is strictly prohibited in the country. Any form of public intimacy can lead to an arrest. Sex outside marriage is illegal and a punishable offense
