Here are few home remedies you can try if you are not able to reach your dentist immediately

Clove Oil

Applying clove oil over the affected area can be effective in numbing the pain due to the presence of eugenol, which is a natural anesthetic

Allicin in garlic helps to destroy the bacteria causing the toothache. You can apply it as a paste by mixing it with rock salt or chew it directly

Vanilla Extract

 You can apply it with the help of a cotton ball, as the presence of alcohol content in vanilla extract aids in freezing the pain for a while

Turmeric Powder 

A paste of turmeric powder and mustard oil can help soothe the pain because of the anti-inflammatory properties of turmeric

Cold Compress

Wrap ice cubes in a towel and apply it over the affected area for few minutes to ease the pain

Salt Water Rinse

Mix half tsp of salt in a glass of warm water. Use it to rinse your mouth to disinfect and reduce inflammation in the teeth
