How To Share Files Using Google Drive

Google Drive is a secure cloud storage service that allows you to back up and access all of your files from any device

Files shared on Drive are proactively scanned to detect malware, spam, ransomware or phishing activities

Here’s a step-by-step account of how users can share large files using Google Drive

Open Google Drive. Tap on the Plus icon on the bottom right corner of the screen

Tap on Upload File option. Navigate to the file you want to upload to your Drive. Tap on the Open option

Once the file has been uploaded you will see the file on the top in the Google Drive app

Tap on the three dots on the top right corner of the file. Tap on Copy Link option. Doing so will save a copy of the file’s shareable link

You may now share the link on various messaging services like WhatsApp, Messenger or Telegram

If required, you can access the same upload later. You will find the file in the Google Drive interface
