Chicken Pockets

Grated cheese – As per taste

Minced chicken - 200 gm

Chopped garlic – 2 to 3 cloves


Oil/melted butter

Ingredients for filling

Put everything in a blender and mix properly. Don’t worry if small bits of cheese or garlic don’t blend

Heat up two teaspoon of oil/ little butter in a pan, add the mixture, stir properly until cooked, and then set aside. Reserve a little (optional)

Water – Half to one cup

Egg - 1

Oil - 1 teaspoon

Sugar - Half teaspoon

Salt – According to taste

Chilli powder - 1 teaspoon

Cornflour – 3 tablespoons

All-purpose flour – 250 gm

Ingredients for pockets

Mix everything together to form a smooth and firm dough, but not too tight. Cover and keep aside for 15 minutes

Take small bits out of the dough and roll each into small balls without any cracks

Roll evenly using a rolling pin, sprinkle a bit of all-purpose flour if it’s sticky. Don’t worry about the shape, round or square both work

Cut the flat dough into two halves and you’ll get triangle/semicircle shapes

Fold the triangle to make a roll, stuff with filling, moist it to seal it. Keep the pockets in the refrigerator for 15 minutes before frying

Heat up oil, deep fry them and your delicious snack is ready

Serve with ketchup and the reserved filling
