4 ways you can include yoghurt in your skincare routine

Yoghurt is rich in antibacterial and hydrating properties that are excellent for your skin health.

Here are four effective ways to include yoghurt in your skincare routine.

Face mask

Mix a tablespoon of honey with a tablespoon of yoghurt, apply it on your face and leave it on for 10 to 15 mins. Rinse it with lukewarm water. It helps moisturise your skin and leaves a cooling effect.

Body scrub

Blend a cup full of oatmeal with plain yoghurt to make a body scrub. Exfoliate your skin with this mixture to remove dead skin cells. 


Mix 1 tsp of lemon juice with a tbsp of plain yoghurt and apply it on your face using a cotton pad. This mixture can help reduce oiliness and balance the pH levels of your skin.


You can apply yoghurt as a moisturiser on your skin or mix it with honey, aloe vera or olive oil.
