Sleep with a silk cap to reduce friction against your pillowcase. Anisa says this will help tame frizz, enhance shine, reduce dryness and breakage.
Oiling your lengths daily helps keep the hair nourished and hydrated. Daily isn’t possible for all hair types but apply as much as yours will allow, Anisa says.
Exfoliate your scalp once a week to thoroughly get rid of product build up, oil and hard water to encourage healthy growth, Anisa says.
Always heat protect; Anisa says quality heat tools make a big difference and don’t go higher than 185 degrees.
