5 tips to maintain Jade plant

Jade plants are excellent succulents for homes as they thrive indoors and are low maintenance. Here are some tips to take care of jade plants at home.

Potting

You can pot jade plants in loose and well-drained soil mixed with cocopeat to boost the soil's fertility. You can opt for a small to medium-sized pot.

Watering

Jade plants are succulents that can survive hot and arid conditions. You can water this plant once every two to three weeks. Avoid overwatering them as it can lead to rotting of the roots.

 Temperature and humidity

Jade plant can thrive in warm temperatures from 65 to 75°F. They can tolerate low to medium humidity levels. 

Sunlight

This plant can grow well both indoors and outdoors. You can keep them in your balcony or near a window to provide them sunlight during winters.

Pruning

Prune them every month to get rid of dead and dry leaves. You can cut dry leaves at the base of the stem to maintain the plant.
