5 tips to maintain jasmine plant in your garden

Jasmine is an excellent plant for your garden as it has a pleasant fragrance and is a low maintenance plant. Here are some tips to take care of jasmine plants in your garden.

Soil

Jasmine requires well-drained soil to grow. It can also grow well in sandy loamy soil. You can mix cocopeat with the soil to boost the soil's fertility.

Watering

Watering jasmine regularly is essential for their buds to bloom into beautiful white flowers. Avoid overwatering them, as it can lead to waterlogging in the soil. You can water them once every two days during winters.

 Temperature and humidity

Jasmines can thrive and bloom in temperatures between 60°F and 75°F. They grow with lush green leaves in humid conditions. You can mist jasmine's stems and leaves if the humidity is low.

Sunlight

This plant can grow well in areas with full sunlight and partial shade.

Pruning

Prune them every week to get rid of dead flowers and dry leaves. You can cut dry leaves at the base of the stem to maintain the plant.
