Foods to include in plant-based diet for optimal health

A plant-based diet includes minimally processed foods with focus on fruits and vegetables which help boost your overall health. Here is a look at nutritious foods you can include in your plant-based diet.


Include fruits rich in fibre and antioxidants, such as berries, citrus fruits, bananas and pineapple.


Include leafy greens like kale and spinach and other nutritious vegetables like tomatoes, broccoli, and cauliflower. 

Starchy vegetables

Potatoes, sweet potatoes and butternut squash can be healthy additions to your plant-based diet.
