Having trouble focusing? Try these Yoga techniques that improve mental clarity

In today's fast-paced, distracting world, maintaining focus is tough, but experts suggest that Yoga can help improve mental clarity and cognitive health.

According to Himalayan Siddhaa Akshar, Founder of Akshar Yoga Kendraa, Yoga encourages mind-body connection, which improves attention and focus, while reducing stress.

Some asanas that improve cognitive performance include Vrikshasana, Natarajasana, Padahasthasana, Paschimottanasana, Ustrasana, Bhujangasana, Sarvangasana, Sirsasana, and Ardha Matsyendrasana.

Pranayamas or breathing techniques can also improve concentration. These include Anuloma Viloma, Nadi Shodhana, and Bhramari.

Meditation practices like mindfulness and candle gazing meditation (Trataka) can also promote focus and help to resist distractions.

Yogic Nidra, a guided relaxation practice induces a deep state of conscious awareness, rejuvenating the mind and improving focus.
