Quick relief tips to reduce bloating after a heavy meal

Bloating is very common after a heavy meal. Overeating is the main cause. Bloating is the feeling of heaviness and discomfort in the abdomen. There's a sense of fullness and tightness in the stomach. Here are quick relief tips.

Walk or light exercise:  Physical exercise or any kind of active movement eases bloating by stimulating the digestive system. 

Yoga:  Yoga poses relieve the abdominal discomfort.  It reduces stress and relaxed abdominal muscle tension.

Take a warm bath:  A nice bath helps to de-stress you and substantially reduces the discomfort. 

Have peppermint tea:  Peppermint tea soothes the gut. It has anti-inflammatory properties. 

Chew fennel seeds:  Fennel seeds relieve built-up gas and work by soothing the tightened muscles of the gut.
