Quick tips to relieve your headache 

Headaches are intensely painful, with dull throbbing in the temples and a tightening pressure around the head. Here are some remedies to quickly soothe a bad headache without any medication.

Apply headache balm on the forehead and temples. Rub in circular motions to relax. The cooling sensation lowers the intensity of the headache. 

Take a bath to lower the stress. Stress may be responsible for the headache. Wash away the tension and feel refreshed after the bath.

Draw the curtains, turn off the light and take a nap. Ensure the room is quiet and dark. A proper nap recharges your mind and body. Excessive stress can lead to headaches, so taking a break to ease  this overload.

Ginger tea alleviates the nausea that accompanies headache. 

Lay down in bed and place wet, cold strips of cloth across your forehead. This method helps by cooling the area, reducing the inflammation and throbbing sensation.

Natural remedies are only for instant relief. If the headache persists or worsens, go see a doctor. It can be a sign of underlying health issue.
