Myths about dogs we need to stop believing

Not everything we hear about dogs is true. Let’s bust some common myths.

Myth 1: Dogs can only see in black and white.

Dogs can see some colours. They don’t see the full range like humans, but their vision isn’t just black and white.

Myth 2: My dog looks guilty when they’ve done something wrong.

That "guilty" face? It’s not really guilt. Dogs react to your tone and body language, not guilt over what they did.

Myth 3: Eating grass means my dog is sick.

Dogs eat grass for many reasons, and it doesn’t always mean they feel unwell.

Myth 4: Dogs age seven years for every human year.

It’s not that simple. A dog’s age depends on their size and breed. They grow at different rates.
