Holi is the festival of colours, but exposure to harmful colours can lead to skin problems
Here are some pre and post-skincare tips for Holi
Pre-Holi Skincare
Apply two coats of base coat or any nail polish as it can help act as a barrier and won't discolour your nails
Use coconut oil or almond oil on your face and the exposed parts of your skin. Its application will help to protect your skin from colours
Apply sunscreen as it will act as a barrier and protect your skin from damage
Post-Holi Skincare
Remove holi colours when they are wet, as it is difficult to remove them after they dry up
For the face, use lukewarm water to wash off the colours
Don't rub your skin too much while removing colours. Use oil to remove the colours gently
After removing the colours, make sure to moisturise your face to prevent dryness
