The former Indian cricketer is now the Director of Cricket Operations at the National Cricket Academy. Here is a look into his career as a coach

He started his coaching career with Rajasthan Royals in 2014. The team came fifth that year and he guided the team to finish fourth in the next edition

He then took charge of the U-19 and India A teams as the head coach

Under his guidance, the U-19 team stood second in the ICC Under-19 World Cup in 2016. This was where fine talents such as Ishan Kishan and Rishabh Pant emerged

During the same time, he mentored the Delhi Daredevils for a period of two seasons

Dravid was asked to choose between the IPL and the National team due to certain conflict of interest notices coming his way. He chose to stick with the National team

The U-19 team led by Prithvi Shaw won the World Cup in 2018 under Rahul’s mentorship

In 2019, Dravid became the Director of Cricket Operations at the National Cricket Academy

There he groomed young cricketers from across the country

He led the second-string Indian unit against Sri Lanka in 2021. Though the team did not win the T20’s then, India triumphed in the 50-over format
