Here are a few things you need to keep in mind before and after getting a tattoo

Do not consume substances like alcohol or caffeine 48 hours prior to getting a tattoo as it can increase bleeding during the process than usual

Make sure to keep your tattoo covered with a bandage or cling wrap for a few days as your tattoo expert advises

Moisturise your tattooed skin using the prescribed lotion or balm. This will prevent your skin from drying and speed up the healing process

UV rays can fade the ink of your tattoo. Apply a water-resistant sunscreen with SPF 30 or more to your tattooed area before going out in the sun
